In
January of 2002 Mr.. Keelboat (Butch Bouvier) and his nephew Bob
Kreeger delivered a scale model of the Lewis and Clark expedition
keelboat to the LBJ Presidential Library in Austin Texas. This is a 2"
= 1' model which is over 9 ft long. The model along with a model
dugout constructed by Butch will play a major role in the Expedition
exhibit which will show at the Library through August of 2003. At the
end of the Exhibit, the model will be donated to the new Lewis and
Clark visitors center at Lewis and Clark State Park in Onawa, Iowa.
